The Secret place

Updated: Apr 17, 2025

Hey Sis,

There comes a time in every woman’s journey when we realizes that what once held us back no longer has the power to define us. The chains of fear, shame, anxiety, or comparison begin to rattle, and we knows deep down—it’s time to break free.

At NcourageHER, we believe that true freedom is found in the presence of God, and the tools He’s given us—prayer and Scripture—are powerful weapons in our spiritual arsenal.

1. Prayer: Our Direct Line to Heaven

Prayer isn’t just something we do; it’s a lifeline. It’s where we pour out our hearts, surrender our pain, and invite God into our broken places. The beauty of prayer is that it doesn’t require perfection—just honesty.

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” – Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV)

When we pray, chains begin to loosen. We align our hearts with God’s truth and silence the lies that have kept us bound for far too long. In prayer, we find healing, clarity, and strength to take the next step.

2. Scripture: The Truth That Sets Us Free

Jesus said it best:“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8:32 (NIV)

Scripture isn’t just words on a page—it’s life-giving truth that renews our minds and transforms our lives. When you’re wrestling with doubt, fear, or insecurity, the Word of God becomes your anchor.

Here are a few verses to cling to when you’re seeking freedom:

  • 2 Corinthians 10:4 – “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world...”

  • Romans 12:2 – “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind...”

  • Psalm 34:17 – “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.”

Speaking Scripture aloud, meditating on it, and declaring it over your life creates a shift in the spiritual atmosphere. The enemy loses his grip when we stand on God’s Word.

3. Breaking Free is a Process

Freedom doesn’t always happen overnight. Sometimes it's a journey—one prayer, one verse, one step of obedience at a time. But don’t despise the process. God is working even when you can’t see it.

As you lean into prayer and immerse yourself in Scripture, you’ll begin to notice the weight lifting, the fog clearing, and the chains falling. And when that happens, you’ll rise—not just as a survivor, but as a woman walking boldly in purpose.

Ready to Take the First Step?

If you’re in a season of transition and longing to break free from what’s holding you back, know this: you’re not alone. NcourageHER is here to walk with you.

You don’t have to stay stuck. Freedom is calling—will you answer?
