Not long ago, I was feeling off spiritually dry, disconnected, and honestly, just going through the motions. I wasn’t praying much, and I didn’t really want to talk about it with anyone. Then I met someone new Gwynne. I didn’t know her well, but something about her spirit drew me in. We started talking here and there, just casual stuff. Nothing deep. Then one day, right in the middle of a regular conversation, she paused and said, “I don’t know why I feel the need to say this, but… God sees you. You are enough. You’re not forgotten. Y’all… I hadn’t told her a thing. She had no idea what I was dealing with. But those words hit deep.In that moment, I knew it wasn’t just her talking. God was speaking through her. I didn’t fall apart right then, but something inside me softened. I felt seen. Not just by my friend but by God Himself. That moment brought me back. It reminded me that even when I’m not feeling spiritual or “together,” He’s still near. Still speaking. Still reaching out. God uses people in the most unexpected ways.
